As a small, lightweight digital projector, the InFocus LP280 LCD projector was designed with the education market in mind. Weighing only 5.7 lbs and with width, depth, and height of only 8.4 inches, 11.2 inches, and 3.3 inches, respectively, it it easy to move this InFocus projector around to project at a certain area or to hide it away when it’s not being used. The projector uses a replaceable 132-watt UHP lamp, giving it life for up to 2,000 hours. This projector uses a TFT Active Matrix display technology, with a native resolution of 800×600 pixels and a 4:3 aspect ratio. The InFocus LP280 LCD projector can also support resolutions of up to 1280×1024 pixels and project images that are both bright and sharp, with a brightness of 1000 ANSI and a 400:1 contrast ratio. This unit has 1.30:1 manual zoom lens that allows extra fine-tuning to the projected image, making it possible to display larger images from a longer distance. This digital projector gives the consumer the option of connecting devices in a number of ways at the connector panel, which is located along the right side of this InFocus projector. The control panel includes an S-video port, a VGA input port, one single-pin audio jack, and a USB port. The user of this device can choose to plug in a set of speakers to this device for better sound, or can use the speakers that are built in to the projector. This InFocus projector can be used to display images from many devices, as it supports video formats such as NTSC, PAL, SECAM, PAL-M, and PAL-N.
